It's My One Year Anniversary! ♥

This past month marked my recent one year anniversary with me and a love I experienced like no other. That love being.......my BLOG! (hehehe) Still no man guys, although I'm sure that's what a few people were probably hoping. The thing is....when I initially started this blog, I was unsure of what the outcome would be. I knew what my purpose was for creating it, but I worried if people would actually read my content. Would they be interested in what I had to say? How would it make them feel? Will they laugh? After awhile I realized I didn't care what anyone thought. The people who wanted to take interest will, and those who don't........well.......I guess you'll hear about it through your friend who does.

A year ago, if you asked me if I seen myself having a blog, the answer would have likely been no. But the beautiful thing about growth is you never see it coming. A year ago I was at a job that burned me out and made me the most stressed I've ever been. A year ago, I got accepted into graduate school and registered for my very first semester. A year ago my strength was put to the ultimate test and I didn't fold (even though I really wanted to). In return of my testimonials, I decided to create a website which displays that we all go through things but it's how you handle it which makes a difference. I wanted to display that in the most authentic way possible because life happens to everyone and I only hoped that when reading some of my stories and experiences, that I was able to remind people that theres always still something to smile about. I wanted people to feel refreshed, happy, engaged, appreciated, loved, sexy, bold, and most importantly not alone.

Here I am a year later feeling more independent and liberated than ever. I welcome this open public space for anyone who is anyone. Whether you are in the middle of your self-discovery phase, or if you're like myself, and just in the middle of a phase in general. I want you to celebrate how far you've come since a year ago. Whether big or small. Celebrate that you are nowhere where you used to be, but on the journey to becoming who you need to be. Celebrate your strength. Celebrate your resiliency. Celebrate your diversity. Celebrate your creativity. Celebrate your power......and celebrate what's to come.

I thank every single person that has supported me, shared my content, subscribed, and also reached out to tell me how great they felt after reading. I aspire to inspire. Here's to many more years of rocking with ya girl! :)

xoxo
