Welcome to my blog! I go by the name of Niyah Ashé. Ashé being a name that holds meaning of power, command, and authority. After reading a post on my site....whether it's only one, or even if it's all of them, I want you to feel that sense of power, command, and authority in the best kind of way. I hope to reach you in a way that is entertaining yet relatable. What I share is genuinely what I feel but in writing.
I'm a 24 year old female still trying to figure out her purpose in this thing called "life". Born in Brooklyn New York, but raised in South Florida, I guess you can say I was able to experience the best of both worlds. I've always been a person to move to the beat of my own drum. Of course there were times when life wasn't always easy, but I can definitely say I've been b l e s s e d more than anything. The truth is my 20 something experience isn't so unusual. As a college graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, everyday I'm learning and discovering so much about myself and even the environment around me. I've had my good moments and I've had my pretty bad ones.
I decided to start this blog with hopes of being able to reach individuals with my words and writing by being expressive, but at the same time relatable. Deciding to start a blog actually scared me because of the opinions, the commentary, the put-downs, and the negative feedback/remarks. But the truth is.....who cares? People will talk anyway. I am here to display the idea that after reading, you can feel a sense of relief knowing that you aren't alone. The important thing is to always remember that life doesn't only happen to you. However, it's how you bounce back, that matters. I hope you guys enjoy my content, and once again welcome to my blog!
