Make the world your healer! Traveling touches part of the heart no man or woman can ever reach.
To my reader who is looking to see the most beautiful views, sunny skies, and sandy beaches.....let's reclaim 2019 as our year.
To my reader who wants to inhale, relax, and check-out from the real world.....lets reclaim 2019 as our year.
After hosting a vision board party with some of my friends a few weeks ago, the one thing I noticed that they all had in common as a goal for this year was to travel. If you're a good friend of mine, or a loyal follower, you know the one thing I try to do the most when given the opportunity is travel. I love the feeling of getting away whether its for a weekend or a week. Traveling brings me so much happiness and a peace of mind. I always come back refreshed and rejuvenated
2019 is the year we're purchasing passports and we're going INTERNATIONAL. Why? Because quite frankly hunny, we deserve it. If traveling is "good for the soul" then why are we constantly making excuses for it? There is nothing more satisfying than being your own entire individual and living life to its fullest, appreciating your own company. Book that flight, take that adventure. Experience culture, experience a conversation in a random place with a stranger, get lost, but find something about yourself you never saw before. You owe it to yourself to go find the millions of magical things this world has to offer. Too often I see people just allowing time to pass them by when putting energy into the wrong things. But right now, you don’t owe anyone anything, whether you are single or with someone the only person truly living your life is you so why put confinements on your freedom? Fill those passport pages, fill your memories, fill yourself up with experiences. You’ll have less baggage if you use the opportunities you have right now anyways, so do yourself the favor and travel until you don’t need the map anymore.
So heres to the reader that keeps making excuses and getting in their own way of creating new experiences. Take a risk and take a purchase. There's always SO many deals and discounts associated with traveling you truly just have to look! Start small even if it's a road trip to a popular city. No passport? Then try somewhere within the United States that you've never been before. One day, as oppose to spending money on a brand new pair of shoes, weave, an outfit, or something materialistic, put that same money aside for a cheap/quick getaway. You'll be surprised how much easier it is to travel when you actually save your money responsibly. After starting small, go big. A passport is one of the best possible investments you can ever have. As a passport holder of the U.S. you are automatically granted entry to 172 countries. YES you read that right. 172 COUNTRIES and out of all of them you've only been to one. SO WHAT ARE YOU DOING? You're young and have only one life to live so make sure it's one worth living.
This is the year of putting your words into action. We're a generation that wants to do so much and see so much but don't actually want to take the initiative to make sure it happens. Plan ahead and plan accordingly. We have 11 months left in the year. Imagine setting aside $300-400 a month and taking yourself somewhere every month. That would accumulate to 12 trips for the year! The only person stopping you, is YOU. Let go of the idea of becoming somebody’s before actually becoming somebody. This year put yourself first and fall in love with your life, you owe that to yourself. The only baggage you need to be carrying is through TSA. OKUUUURRRR!
